Cancellation Policy

4. Cancellation by the Guest 4.1. Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing by email, WhatsApp or through the booking channel used for the reservation. 4.2. Unless a different cancellation policy is specifically stated in the individual property listing or reservation confirmation, the following standard policy applies: Cancellation more than 15 days before check-in: The guest may receive a refund of the amount paid, less any non-refundable payment-processing, bank-transfer or administrative charges. Cancellation 7–15 days before check-in: 50% of the amount paid may be retained as a cancellation fee, and the remaining eligible amount will be refunded. Cancellation less than 7 days before check-in: The amount paid is non-refundable. 4.3. If the guest does not arrive on the scheduled check-in date without prior written notice (“no-show”), the reservation is considered cancelled and no refund will normally be provided. 4.4. Individual apartments may have different cancellation conditions, including stricter or more flexible policies. Where a specific cancellation policy is displayed in the property listing or reservation confirmation, that specific policy takes precedence over the standard policy above. 5. Changes to a Reservation 5.1. Requests to change dates, number of guests or other reservation details are subject to availability and written approval. 5.2. A change of dates may be treated as a cancellation and a new reservation if the requested change cannot be accommodated. 5.3. Any difference in rental price resulting from a change of dates or accommodation type must be paid by the guest. 6. Cancellation by Red Sea Holiday Rental / Owner / Property Management 6.1. Every reasonable effort will be made to provide the accommodation confirmed by the guest. 6.2. In the exceptional event that the booked accommodation becomes unavailable due to circumstances beyond the reasonable control of Red Sea Holiday Rental, the apartment owner or the appointed property management company, the guest will be offered, where reasonably possible: alternative accommodation of comparable standard; or a refund of the amount paid for the affected reservation. 6.3. Red Sea Holiday Rental, the apartment owner and/or the appointed property management company will not be responsible for additional costs incurred by the guest as a result of circumstances beyond their reasonable control.
